FAQ

How can I place my order?

Please view our Retailers page to find a Retailer in your area that carries Pacific Urns Jewelry Urns. If a Retailer is not in your area please contact us.

What is Rhodium Plating?

Rhodium is the whitest of the Platinum family and eliminates the possibility of any and all tarnish buildup. Due to it's durability it will keep it's high polish shine virtually forever. This process is also a benefit for those customers that have allergies or reactions to Nickel, which is inevitably in all sterling silver and white gold. This thin layer of Rhodium is essentially inert to the skin, hypoallergenic, therefore no reaction can take place.

What is Included with my Cremation Jewelry Urn?

Sterling Silver Cremation Urns come with a Sterling Silver chain to match your pendant, a jewelry display case, Sterling Silver Funnel & a small polishing cloth with instructions how to maintain your Jewelry Urn.

Gold Urns come with a jewelry display case, Sterling Silver Funnel & a small polishing cloth with instructions how to maintain your Jewelry Urn.
**10K Gold chains may be purchased separately for your Gold Jewelry Urns.

Do I Fill the Cremation Jewelry Urn myself?

We recommend you use a 3-4 mm flat head screwdriver to close your Jewelry Urn. Your Jewelry ships with a Sterling Silver funnel that will allow you to fill the Urn yourself. If you are not comfortable filling the Jewelry Urn yourself, your Funeral Home Director could be of assistance. We advise to keeping a small bit of the cremated remains in the event your Jewelry Urn is lost.

How Can I Maintain & Care For My Chain?

Tarnish is a natural process and is defined as a dulled luster or finish caused by a thin deposit of dirt which discolors the surface of metal and is easily removed.

Chain Coloration/Tarnish:
A tarnish resistant alloy is used in the Sterling Silver Chains we purchase however there is a risk your chain may, over time tarnish. If this becomes the case we suggest you use a Silver cleaning solution to clean your chain, this is available at most department or hardware stores. Instructions for use will be included with product.

Does the Cremation Jewelry Urn seal tightly?

Yes! The countersunk threaded plug seals the cavity securely and the solid Sterling Silver, Gold or Platinum construction means it will resist almost any element. After your Urn has been filled and sealed we strongly recommend you not re-open it.

Is my Cremation Jewelry Urn Waterproof?

Once sealed all our Urns are water resistant however we suggest you remove all Jewelry prior to showering, bathing, swimming, being in a hot tub or sleeping.

How much of the cremated remains will go into a Jewelry Urn?

The interior cavity is small and varies from model to model. The smallest of the Keepsake Urns internal volume is about the size of a pencil eraser.

Can I Only put cremated remains in my Cremation Jewelry Urn?

No, anything you like can be put into the Urn. The only restriction being that it must be able to pass through the threaded hole and fit within the cavity. Most models have a hole approximately 4 mm although they range from 3 to 5 mm.

Can my Cremation Jewelry Urn be Engraved?

Most Urns are Engravable, but some models are not well suited. The Type, Depth and Amount of engraving will vary from piece to piece; we suggest keeping to a maximum of 10 characters. If you have any questions regarding Engraving on a specific item please Contact Pacific Urns.

Are all your Cremation Jewelry Urns able to be Filled?

Yes! Every one of our designs is able to be filled with cremated remains, dried flowers, locks of hair or earth from the burial site.
